Miguel Torruco recognizes consultants who certify the Quality Standards in tourism services / @TorrucoTurismo @SECTUR_mx >>

#SECTUR.- The Secretary of Tourism of the Government of Mexico, Miguel Torruco Marqués, led the Ceremony for the Awarding of Recognitions and Credentials of the Quality Standards 2022 to the consultants, who for their trajectory have earned this award, and to those who are now accredited to grant tourism certifications.

Accompanied by the Secretary of Tourism of Mexico City, Nathalie Desplas Puel, the head of the Ministry of Tourism (SECTUR) said that the agency promotes and encourages various quality standards that include seals and badges, in order to measure the level of performance of tourism service providers in areas such as hygiene, quality of service, management models, architecture, gastronomy, among others.

Before officials of the state Tourism Secretariats and leaders of the main tourism chambers and associations, he highlighted the work of the consultants, who are in charge of auditing the establishments, identifying their points of improvement, training the personnel and, finally, through their validation, notifying the agency for the awarding of their distinctive.

«Quality in products and services, innovation and sustainability are fundamental tools that contribute to satisfying the needs and expectations of tourists, and to achieve this, tourism certification is paramount. The consultants accredited by our institution, for more than two decades have transmitted their experience, knowledge and support to entrepreneurs in the tourism sector,» he said.
